Chia Pudding

Chia Seeds are such an added benefit to your daily diet and can be very satisfying!

Chia promotes healthy digestion, stimulates weight loss, manages blood sugar levels , rich in protein boosts your mood and so much more.

Recipe:

1 1/2 cup coconut milk (you can also use almond milk etc.)

1/4 cup coco powder

1/3 cup chia seeds

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbls maple syrup

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Stir all together add your choice of toppings and let sit for a minimum of 5 hours.

For Vanilla flavored just leave out the coco and add a bit more chia seeds.

Benefits of Eating Avocado

Here are just a few benefits of eating avocado.

Maintains healthy skin, reduces risk of cardiovascular disease, aids in digestion and weight management, protects the liver and keeps eyes healthy. There are so many more benefits and it’s a great source of Omega-3.

For those who have asked how I get my little one to eat Avocado here are the recipes that he loves most!

What my son calls Nanacado:

In magic bullet or blender add:

1 half avocado

1 half banana (if it’s a small banana use whole)

Add a pinch of cinnamon

Add a bit of water to help blend

Blend all until smooth pudding like substance.

Shake Variation

In magic bullet or blender add:

5-6 cubes of frozen avocado if fresh about half a small avocado

1 half banana

1 Scoop of natural protein powder (I usually use Vanilla flavor)

Add enough water to cover all ingredients.

Add a pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Blend all until liquid is to your liking to drink

If you love chocolate add chocolate protein instead.
